Cineclub train professional filmmakers to help teachers and pupils understand the whole filmmaking process and to widen their appreciation of contemporary, classic and cult film. By getting their hands dirty and making mistakes they learn how to become proficient low budget filmmakers!

Within their local Cineclub network schools come together to screen their finished films at their local cinema each term, all sharing and enjoying the viewing process with their peers before going back to school to make more inspired films!

Cineclub enables children and young people to communicate ideas, challenge views and form opinions through the magical medium of digital film production! Along with this comes the shared knowledge of the many different cultures and experiences that grow from our diverse society.

Cineclub reinforces the nature of digital film production as a powerful educational tool to enrich and extend all areas of the curriculum. Cineclub is also a vehicle to bring young people together in order to be inspired and challenged by process and product, helping to raise achievement and promote emotional and mental well being.

It is here, at grass roots level where we could see an emerging British Film industry once more, where hundreds of young filmmakers across the country start telling their stories! Whilst the Cineclub network becomes embedded into our education system, creating a mini studio system, how can it fail!

We welcome you to the Cineclub Young Filmmakers Network!
