After ten years as an actor, appearing in amongst other things Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, he made his first film in 2001 called The Real Notting Hill – an improvised drama that was broadcast on Channel 4 and nominated, thanks to the brilliance of the kids who appeared in it for a BAFTA.
