Up to 15 pupils and 2 teachers in your school will learn to be proficient low budget filmmakers through a series of hands-on practical workshops over two terms with a Cineclub professional filmmaker!
In term one your school will make their first film, with the aim of gaining a
‘C’ Certificate, which will be screened at your local cinema at the end of term with other films from your regional cohort.
In term two your school will make a second film. Having learned by your mistakes from the first film, your second film would have progressed on certain levels, enabling pupils and teachers to hone their skills more proficiently through masterclass sessions. The teachers and pupils start taking on more responsibility in term 2 so that Cineclub becomes embedded as ‘your’ club.
Your second finished graduation film will be screened at the National Film Theatre with the rest of your cohort!
In term 3 and beyond your school enters Cineclub Annual Membership which enables Cineclub schools to sustain themselves as a filmmaking and film watching network.
Teacher filmmakers from your school can also buy in discounted Bolt On Masterclasses to develop advanced skills training.
